Welcome to the Saba Shahdad Trust, a charitable organization established in memory of Dr. Saba Shahdad, a remarkable Kashmiri individual whose passion for healthcare and tireless dedication to medical research left an indelible mark on the world. Dr. Shahdad, a distinguished alumna of AIMS in New Delhi and a fellow of the University of Hertfordshire in the UK, epitomized excellence in the field of clinical science. During her tenure at the esteemed global pharmaceutical firm Roche, she made significant contributions to therapeutic advancements, as evidenced by her numerous published papers. Tragically, Dr. Shahdad succumbed to ovarian cancer in 2013, prompting her family to establish this foundation in her honor. The Saba Shahdad Foundation is committed to continuing her legacy by ensuring that no cancer patient in Kashmir is deprived of treatment due to financial constraints. Through our various initiatives and programs, we strive to uphold Dr. Shahdad's humanitarian values and fulfill her vision of a world where healthcare is accessible to all, regardless of financial means.
